Preaching: God is Real
You do not live by justification but you live by faith.
For it in the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, âThe just shall live by faith.â
The Bible has already indicated that the Father declared that Jesus is the Son.
No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.
Jesus mentioned that he who knows me hear my voice and no one is able to snatch them out of my hand.
My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Fatherâs hand. I and my Father are one.
Firstborn of creation is Jesus himself!
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
After the world had been broken and marred by sins, Jesus steps in to bring restoration and beauty back to the brokenness. Just like in Nain where grief turned to joy, His touch transforms what was bleak into something breathtakingly beautiful once more.
Now it happened, the day after, that He went into a city called Nain; and many of His disciples went with Him, and a large crowd. And when He came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother; and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the city was with her. When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, âDo not weep.â Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, âYoung man, I say to you, arise.â So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother.
He is the Past, Present and Future where He had delivered us, deliver us and will still deliver us.
For we do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, of our trouble which came to us in Asia: that we were burdened beyond measure, above strength, so that we despaired even of life. Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead, who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us.
He had already overcome the world!
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.
Explaination of the Armour of God.
Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavens places. Therefore take up the whole arbor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.
