When You Can’t Stop Overthink!
Proverbs 3:5-6 – “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”
Heavenly Father, here I am, just me, in the quiet of this moment. My mind’s racing, overthinking every little detail. Sometimes, Lord, it’s like my thoughts have a mind of their own.
But I remember Your words, Father, right here in Proverbs 3. You’re telling me to trust You with all my heart, not just some of it, but all. And to not lean on my own understanding, but Yours.
So, tonight, I want to lay it all down. All these thoughts, worries, and overanalyzing. I place them in Your hands because, honestly, they’re too heavy for me to carry alone.
In Jesus’ name, I’m asking for peace. The kind of peace that goes beyond human understanding. your peace. Help me to rest in the fact that I don’t have to figure everything out. You’ve got this, Lord. And I know that You’ve got me. Amen.
